Candwr Brook Dental Practice
Separate 6-suite dental practice and medical/pharmacutrical centre located in the grounds of Candwr Brook Medical Centre in Ponthir near Caerleon.
Both concepts adopt room-in-the-roof design layouts to take advantage of the otherwise redundant loft space.
The site is of ecological importance and great significance was placed on the need to protect local ecology. The Local Planning Authority required extensive sustainable design solutions including SUDS drainage systems.
Bridges Community Centre
Refurbishment and extension of an historic existing grade 2* listed building situated in the town of Monmouth.
Refurbishment of existing Drybridge House to form new offices, reception area, lounge, kitchen, dining room/café and meeting rooms to provide a multi-purpose venue for use by the local community and centre users. The new build hall extension with stage and new kitchen facilities overlook historic gardens and an arboretum.
Access for the disabled is provided throughout the existing building and new extension facilities enabling access for all within a diverse and multi-functional environment.
